"And maybe as an incentive, we say those that volunteer will give them some tickets," David Wilkes said, describing how volunteers could receive tickets for the night they wish to attend after serving. Members agreed to allow one-night shifts and to accept family or neighbor volunteers if they are at least 18.
Members also discussed ear plugs and vendor availability, noting strong demand. The committee recommended the website advise attendees to bring ear protection and acknowledged that vendors sell inexpensive ear plugs for events.
The chair said he would email the committee with specific volunteer requests and encouraged members to recruit additional helpers to reach a target of about 20 people per night.
