Hot Springs County to release RFP for Overlook at Roundtop; site visit set for July 14

Connie Guntley presented the Request for Proposals for the Overlook at Roundtop and asked the commissioners for guidance on conducting a site visit for interested parties. The board set a site visit for July 14, 2026 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Guntley asked that all questions from interested parties be submitted in writing rather than addressed informally at the visit.
Commissioner Tom Ryan moved to authorize release of the RFP; Commissioner Paul Galovich seconded and the motion carried. Guntley said she "would put the finishing touches on the RFP and release it the next day." She also said the county will advertise the RFP in the Independent Record in Thermopolis and the Casper Star-Tribune.
