The Hot Springs County Board approved multiple airport items on June 30, 2026, including a Fixed Base Operator lease and management agreement with Owl Creek Aviation for $132,500 annually (July 1, 2026–June 30, 2028) and a 2026 NAVAID maintenance contract for $6,181.00 (WYDOT Aeronautics reimburses $4,326.70; the County pays $1,854.30). Commissioner Galovich moved to approve the FBO contract; Commissioner Ryan seconded and the motion carried.
Ardurra Project Manager Carson Rowley presented via Zoom on two FAA grant applications for a County Owned Hangar. Rowley explained the two separate applications were necessary because funding is being sought from two sources and stated, "the two applications together make up the FAA portion of the funding for the County Owned Hangar Project." Commissioners authorized the Chairman's signature on grant applications 3‑56‑0043‑017‑2026 and 3‑56‑0043‑018‑2026. The minutes list a total project amount of $2,718,957.00.
