Select Board approves routine licenses, highway certificate and minutes

During its Feb. 9 meeting the Select Board approved several routine items on unanimous votes: minutes from the Jan. 5 regular meeting, three license requests (129 Main Street and 224 Main Street for tobacco 2nd class and Green Mountain Sugar House for a 2nd class liquor license), and a Certificate of Highway Mileages reflecting the August reclassification of Preedom Hill North from Class 4 to Class 3.
Penny Wu said that the licenses had been reviewed and approved by Chief Warfle. George Tucker, Jr. moved to sign the highway certificate after staff explained the state reporting requirement when road designations change. The motions for these consent items passed without dissent.
