The Ludlow Select Board approved an $8,175 contract with Springfield Fence Company to replace and repair the fence and backdrop at Dorsey Park. Municipal Manager Penny Wu told the board only one bid was received and that ARPA funds would cover the cost; the work is expected to be completed by June.
The board voted to accept the higher 'replace and repair' option rather than the lower repair-only option. "Work to be completed by June," Penny Wu said; the motion to approve the replacement and repair option for $8,175 passed unanimously.
