Select Board awards $74,945 Better Connections planning contract to SE Group

The Town of Ludlow awarded the Better Connections Grant contract for the Ludlow Village Master Plan to SE Group at the April 6 Select Board meeting. The selection committee — which included Erin Ladd and Municipal Manager Penny Wu — reviewed 11 proposals and selected SE Group for $74,945. "The committee liked the SE Group; they have experience in ski and mountain resort towns," Penny Wu said, citing work in Breckenridge and Lake Placid as relevant experience.
Board members noted that the SE Group's work will feed directly into the municipal plan revision and the town's feasibility study and must be completed before the upcoming high winter-usage season. The motion to approve SE Group's bid passed unanimously.
