Thomas Schwartz said his medical office is targeting a May 1 opening in the county and requested a time to meet with Board members. Travis Harris reported a grocery store plans to open in May 2026 and thanked County Administrator Derek Stamey for assistance; Harris also said he was "disappointed in the Board’s decision to table the 2A Resolution." April Morris provided updates on Cartersville Volunteer Fire Department events and thanked staff and volunteers for assistance during recent inclement weather. Tim Martin raised concerns regarding data centers in the county. Reed Terry, a district field representative for Congressman John J. McGuire III, introduced himself and invited constituents to contact his office for assistance.
Betty Myers again called for follow-up on local "hot topics" including Green Ridge and the Courthouse Project and expressed concern about perceived fairness in who is allowed to speak during meetings.
