"A multi-county agreement could mean a lower local cost than the $23,500 we budgeted," Shearer explained during the department head presentation. Supervisor Jayson Vande Hoef moved to approve the contract; the motion carried unanimously.
The Board also approved the subaward agreement with the state agency that manages the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program; the transcript does not list the subaward dollar amount.
