The Roosevelt County Board of Commissioners approved personnel actions in August including pay raises for two employees in the 911 dispatch center and the hiring of a road department worker.
"A motion was made by Commissioner Toavs to approve the pay raise for Alex Sutton from 911, seconded by Commissioner Oelkers. Passed," the minutes record. The board took the same action to approve a pay raise for Marissa Follet from 911 and approved hiring Roger Chambers to the Road Department after a separate motion by Commissioner Toavs and second by Commissioner Oelkers.
These items were presented under routine business during a regular public meeting and passed without recorded dissent. The board adjourned the session at 11:10 a.m.
