Resident says mayor blocked him from city page; council to respond to complaint

“My 1st amendment rights are being trampled...the mayor has her mayor page, and she decided to block me, erase all my comments,” Brown said, adding that he wanted to participate in public discussion on city matters and expected a city reply to his complaint.
City staff acknowledged receipt of Brown’s complaint and said the city would review it and respond in due course. The attorney noted he had not yet read Brown’s packet and would need to review it before providing a formal response.
Brown also raised concerns about turnover in city employment and criticized the handling of some contracts, urging the council consider procedural safeguards such as Robert's Rules to prevent abrupt personnel changes. The mayor denied having fired employees and the attorney described differences between town and city procedures under state law that can affect employee termination processes.
