The St. Croix County Board of Adjustment voted unanimously July 23 to approve a conditional use permit for Brent and Jennifer Wilbur to replace an existing river-access stairway at 312 North Cove Road in the Town of Troy. Staff presented a continuation of the April 23 hearing and said the applicant provided the additional information the board requested, including engineer-stamped plans and a DNR letter of support.
Staff read key project details into the record: "The property is located at 312 North Cove Road in Section 13, Town 28 North, Range 20 West, and the parcel number is 040117710000," and described the stairway as 48 inches wide and about 90 feet long. Staff told the board the engineer, Corey Fisher, has stamped the modified plans to meet the 20-foot vertical separation and landing-size requirements. The board approved the permit as amended in a voice vote; the chair announced the motion carried unanimously and no individual roll-call votes were read into the record.
