Dorsey playground LWCF grant under National Park Service review; ARPA funds discussed for fencing upgrade

At the March 10 meeting Parks and Recreation Director Nick Miele told members that the Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF) grant for work at Dorsey is currently undergoing a National Park Service compliance review. Miele said he also discussed with "Penny" how to allocate remaining ARPA funds for Dorsey projects, and identified upgrading the softball fencing as one proposed use.
No formal approvals or contract awards were recorded at the meeting; the director presented the status update and said staff will continue to work through federal compliance and local funding decisions before moving to procurement or construction phases.
