County advances Overlook at Roundtop planning, approves purchase of two Arapahoe Street parcels for CDBG demolition

Grant Administrator Connie Guntly told commissioners the Community Development Block Grant contract for demolition of Arapahoe Street properties was revised to include edits the county requested and that the draft RFP for the Overlook at Roundtop would be brought for approval at the June 23 special meeting. Ms. Guntly said the RFP was ready for review and discussion before formal approval.
Ardurra Project Manager Carson Rowley presented via Zoom on remaining grading and construction readiness at the Overlook at Roundtop and the parties agreed to a site visit on June 30, 2026. Following an executive session, the Board authorized purchase contracts connected to the CDBG project: Commissioner Galovich moved to buy 526 Arapahoe Street for $25,000 and 530 Arapahoe Street for $50,000; Commissioner Ryan seconded both motions and they carried.
Commissioners and staff discussed pursuing a Wyoming Business Council Business Ready Community Grant to support developer infrastructure costs; Ms. Guntly and the Board agreed the RFP would be presented for approval on June 23.
