Select Board approves liquor license, sand bid, MARC contract and parade; honors retiring dispatcher

During routine business the Select Board approved multiple motions: Homestyle Restaurant’s liquor licenses were approved after Chief Jeff Warfle signed off; the board accepted M&M Excavating’s bid for screened winter sand at $16.00/CY (loaded); the board approved a MARC contract for municipal plan updates estimated at $8,000–$10,000; and the Iron Adventure Parade request for July 18 was approved with a police escort. Motions for these items passed unanimously.
Chief Jeff Warfle also recognized Dispatcher David VanGuilder for almost 33 years of service and presented a plaque and award ahead of his retirement. The board recorded these votes and will follow routine administrative steps to implement the contracts and permits.
