Penny Wu told the Water Commission that the town has submitted or will submit applications to the Clean Water State Revolving Fund for several projects: MSK for a Ludlow service-line inventory and non-lead-line work; A&E for Thompson and Orion; A&E for Pleasant Street; and A&E for Lower High Street wastewater and drainage.
Wu said project priorities are ranked by the state and that Thompson and Orion are likely to rise to the top; she said she will reach out to the state agency to discuss priority points. Commissioners asked about the possibility of placing a bond for Thompson/Orion at the March 2 Town Meeting if grant funding does not come through quickly.
