Trustees hear update on Thompson Avenue water work; treatment systems installed at two houses

Penny Wu said staff installed water treatment systems at two houses and added a valve where Thompson’s lines meet Orion; crews began excavating curb stops but did not find the lines where expected and will return after scheduled events at the properties.
Wu also said the property owners had requested and received water abatement from the Water Commissioners. Trustee Justin Hyjek thanked the grounds crew for their efforts. Staff will return to complete excavation and continue coordination with property owners and Planning & Zoning.
