Penny Wu told trustees that Ludlow Economic Development delivered a $50,000 check to the Village specifically for relocation and construction of a wastewater treatment facility. Ulla Cook recommended the board set up a special revenue fund to earmark those dollars for the project and trustees voted unanimously to create the fund.
Trustees discussed the donation and the need to track funds separately for the capital project; Justin Hyjek thanked Ludlow Economic Development for the contribution and noted the corporation had also provided property. The new fund will be used to hold and track project-specific revenues and expenditures as planning continues.
