Village officials scheduled a joint municipal-plan revision session for June 15, 2026 at 5:00 p.m., bringing together the Select Board, Trustees, Development Review Board, Planning Commission and staff to review criteria, projects and language for an updated plan.
"We will ask MARC to facilitate. The meeting is scheduled for June 15, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. We will look at criteria, guidelines for the new plan," Penny Wu said. Justin Hyjek pushed for a more proactive approach to planning rather than a reactive one, and Erin Ladd recommended including wording that specifically authorizes pursuit of grants for infrastructure projects and asking each department head to propose top projects.
Bruce Schmidt asked that Electric and Water Commissioners be included to discuss growth and service capacity; Penny Wu said she would include them. The board said early sessions would be staff and official‑only, with later meetings opened to public comment to gather community input.
