The Village of Ludlow Board of Trustees unanimously approved and signed the annual Certification of Compliance for Town Road and Bridge Standards at its April 7 meeting, securing $50,696.66 in state funding tied to the certification.
Penny Wu explained the certification covers estimated Class I, II and III roads in the village and noted there were no changes from last year despite questions about the impact of Dug Road. "This is a yearly certification of estimated Class I, II and III roads in the Village. Funding from the State will be $50,696.66," the minutes state. Justin Hyjek asked whether Dug Road affected the totals; Penny Wu replied there were no changes.
The board moved and voted to approve and sign the certification, a routine step required to receive state highway funds tied to the road classifications. Staff will file the signed certification as the village’s annual compliance record.
