The Village of Ludlow Board of Trustees completed its annual reorganization on April 7, electing Bob Brandt as chairman and approving Justin Hyjek as vice chairman and Julie Nicoll as clerk.
"Motion by Julie Nicoll and seconded by Justin Hyjek to elect Bob Brandt Chairman of the Board," the minutes record; the motion and subsequent officer elections passed unanimously. The trustees also voted to hold regular meetings on the first Tuesday of each month at 6:00 p.m., with alternate meetings on the third Tuesday as needed.
The board adopted the VLCT rules of order for meetings, appointed Lisha Klaiber as recording secretary and designated THE VERMONT JOURNAL as the newspaper of general circulation with THE RUTLAND HERALD as backup. Each of those motions passed unanimously, according to the minutes.
The reorganization sets the board's procedural framework for the coming year and clarifies staffing and publication responsibilities. No dissent or abstentions were recorded.
