Visiting Improvement Association thanks Surry County supervisors for leadership training

Rufus Tyler, introduced as representing the Improvement Association and visiting from Sussex County, thanked the Surry County Board of Supervisors for hosting professional development and for local leadership. He described a Dec. 20 training attended by staff and board members focused on leadership, vision, and managing change.
Tyler said the facilitator received a standing ovation and that staff sought a way to express appreciation. He praised local supervisors for their service and closed by thanking the board for the opportunity to present.
