Staff said the DEQ fees took effect July 1 but that the county requested a hold so the Board could act; staff recommended approval and noted the county’s share of collected fees will increase from 28% to 30%. Board members asked whether DEQ inspects sites regularly; staff said the DEQ inspector (named Del Chestnut) conducts periodic inspections and that recent reports showed county sites in compliance. The Board voted to approve the amended stormwater fee schedule as presented.
