Committee outlines July 4 and summer concert series for Ludlow's 250th anniversary

Nick Miele described plans for Ludlow's 250th anniversary Fourth of July celebration. The schedule includes a 9:00 a.m. dedication of the Liberty Tree, a 10:00 a.m. parade, and an evening event on the mountain that starts at 6:00 p.m.; Rustie Bus is scheduled to play at 7:00 p.m., followed by fireworks. Miele said he hoped to sell a commemorative T-shirt but that there was insufficient time to run a presale.
Miele also confirmed the summer concert series begins June 21 at 6:30 p.m. with Frydaddy and Carlos Ocasio performing, and reiterated that Coed Softball will start June 22 with nine teams signed up. These events shape staffing and volunteer needs for mid-to-late June and July.
