Ludlow lays out summer lineup: concerts, Legion and Babe Ruth baseball, coed softball, Fourth of July plans

Nick Miele told the committee that a Legion baseball team will play this summer with the season starting in mid-June, and that staff hope to field a Babe Ruth team pending coordination with the Chester Recreation Director. He said the summer concert series begins June 21 at 6:30 p.m. with Frydaddy featuring Carlos Ocasio.
Miele also said coed softball plans to start around June 17 with eight teams currently signed up. For July Fourth, the department plans to sell a commemorative shirt for $30 and to offer alternative concessions such as popcorn and cotton candy instead of the traditional burgers and hot dogs; he offered to provide GameOne contact information when asked by a committee member.
