Commissioners appoint Zachary Maxam to Sublette County Fair Board in 4-1 vote

The Sublette County Board of County Commissioners voted 4-1 on Feb. 17 to appoint Zachary Maxam to the remainder of a Fair Board term ending Dec. 31, 2026. Commissioner Vickrey moved to appoint Maxam and Commissioner Bradley seconded; Chairman Bernard recorded the lone vote against the appointment.
Two applicants attended the interview—Paige Harrell and Zachary Maxam—and four other applications were received for the vacancy. The appointment fills the seat through Dec. 31, 2026; the board recorded the vote as part of the Visitor’s Center and tourism update agenda item.
