County asks commission to accept $1M CDBG closeout for courthouse ADA work

Christian Jailer asked the commission to accept closeout of the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) portion of the Historic County Courthouse project. He said the county received $1,000,000 specifically for ADA work, the general contractor separated invoices for that component, and the architect has confirmed the dollars were spent appropriately. "As of December, all those dollars are spent down," Jailer said.
Commissioners approved the closeout during roll call. Staff will file the required closeout documentation with the grantor.
