The Town of Manchester Development Review Board took several procedural and substantive actions at its Jan. 7 meeting.
Procedural: The board voted unanimously, 5-0, to table the minutes of the Dec. 4, 2025 meeting so they can be revised for clarity. The chair adjusted the meeting agenda by consent to hear the High Meadow Holdings matter first.
Approvals: The board approved High Meadow Holdings LLC's site-plan-level exterior renovation application (SP-2025-102) for the Manchester View Hotel, including an 8' x 8' entrance and a new 13' x 8' sauna, by a 5-0 vote.
Hearings: The board held a hearing on Depot Street LLC's demolition application (ST-2025-97) for the Firefly building at 575 Depot Street. Testimony from the property owner, preservation advocates and a gallery owner was recorded; no final determination was recorded in the minutes. The board noted that if it closed the hearing it would have 45 days to issue written Findings of Fact and Conclusions of Law.
Adjournment: John Watanabe moved to adjourn; the motion was seconded by Mary Shoener and carried 5-0. The meeting adjourned at 10:00 p.m.; the next meeting is scheduled for Feb. 4 at 7:30 p.m.
