Board approves On the Go Nutrition signs with lighting condition
Summary
The Design Advisory Board approved two signs for On the Go Nutrition LLC (63" x 36" wall sign and 63" x 36" freestanding sign) on condition that lighting for the freestanding sign complies with the Manchester Land Use and Development Ordinance; the applicant will submit lighting specs to the Zoning Administrator.
On the Go Nutrition LLC applied to install two 63" x 36" (15.75 sq ft) signs: a wall-mounted sign using existing lighting and a freestanding sign that would include new lighting (Application S-2025-105, Tax Map: 32-50-52.02). The applicant confirmed that "the lights above the proposed wall sign are preexisting, however the lights proposed for the freestanding sign will be new," and the board discussed compliance with the town's lighting standards.
Ray Nevin moved to approve both signs as presented, conditioned on the freestanding sign's lighting complying with the Manchester Land Use and Development Ordinance; the motion was seconded by Eileen Braheney and passed unanimously, 5-0. The applicant will provide lighting specifications to Zoning Administrator Peter Brabazon for final administrative review.
