Michael Allen of Regrowth Planning presented a draft framework of Goals, Policies and Actions to guide a revision of Manchester’s town plan, and the Planning Commission agreed to a schedule for internal and public review. Allen said he will prepare a more fleshed-out document for public comment and asked the board to consolidate feedback into a single submission. "It is generally easier when the feedback from the board is consolidated and comes from one person," Allen told the commission.
The commission agreed to hold a workshop on its regular meeting date, June 29, 2026, to review the consultant’s next draft, and to host a public informational session on July 13, 2026. Chair David Michelson asked commissioners to send comments to him "several days before" the June 29 workshop so he can compile them for Allen. Michelson also asked that the draft framework include a short vision statement and suggested that possible funding approaches be linked to the Goal/Policy/Action entries in the next version. The commission will publish the consolidated comments and the consultant’s revised framework on the town website ahead of public outreach.
