Selectboard plans Town Meeting remarks, Unsung Hero awards; MEMS student recognized

Selectboard members and Town Manager Scott Murphy discussed who will speak on specific Warning articles at the Annual Town Meeting scheduled Feb. 28, 2026, at 1:00 PM at M.E.M.S. The board also confirmed it will present Unsung Hero awards; Selectboard member Laurie Kunz noted nominations are due Feb. 27, 2026.
The board congratulated MEMS student Tamsin Wilson (described during the meeting as the granddaughter of former Town Manager and State Rep. Jeff Wilson and daughter of Jon and Amy Wilson) for serving as a Page during the 2026 Vermont Legislative Session. Board members discussed assigning speakers and articles for Town Meeting day; a decision on some appointments and vacancies was deferred to the next regular meeting.
