The Town of Manchester Selectboard voted unanimously Feb. 17 to approve liquor and tobacco license applications and renewals for six local businesses. Town Manager Scott Murphy outlined the classes and designations for each applicant and confirmed required materials had been received and were in good standing.
The licenses covered RJK MDB, Inc dba Manchester Discount Beverages (374 Depot St.), VT Creative Culinary, LLC dba Pearl's Place & Pantry (1942 Depot St.), Price Chopper Operating Co. of Vt, Inc dba Price Chopper (263 Depot St., Suite 1), Veterans of Foreign Wars Harned-Fowler Post 6471 (280 Depot St.), Village Market and Gas VT, LLC dba Village Market & Gas (557 Depot St.), and Stewart's Shops Corp dba Stewart's Shop #197 (4455 Main St.). Laurie Kunz moved to approve the applications; Jonathan West seconded and the board voted 5-0.
The approvals were procedural and required by municipal licensing rules; no public comments or conditions were recorded during the vote. The licenses will be processed consistent with town recordkeeping and state requirements.
