After discussion about whether fuel for county vehicles should be captured centrally or in each commissioner's line, the board reached a consensus.
Staff explained that fuel used in county vehicles is typically paid from county operations, not an individual commissioner's allotment, but the board decided to retain a small per-commissioner fuel line "just in case." Staff member said the clerk's office had removed the fuel line for District 3 and recommended standardizing the lines; the board settled on $7.50 per commissioner for fuel, $5,000 for travel and $2,000 for education. Staff will update the funding pages and, if necessary, cover small net increases from one-time monies, pending final line-item confirmation.
