Paula Mohr of Bentonsport asked the Board to provide a letter of support for a 2026 application to the Paul Bruhn Historic Revitalization Grant. Mohr said that Ashley Utt, Executive Director of Pathfinders RC&D, had previously assisted with applications in 2023 and 2025 without award, and that a recent Zoom meeting with a National Park Service grant manager clarified how to revise the application.
Supervisor Mark Meek moved and Supervisor Dale House seconded a motion authorizing the chairman to sign a letter of support for the 2026 application; the motion passed with three ayes. The minutes do not include the text of the letter or the specific project scope; Mohr and the applicants will proceed with the revised application process.
