The fellows are intended to surface practical classroom and back‑office use cases, document evidence of impact and help the district decide what should be scaled, revised or discontinued. Thorn recommended board support for the first cohort and said staff will provide a detailed selection and planning rubric to trustees prior to launch. The target start date for the pilot is 08/24/2026.
