Homeowners Todd and Kim Guthrie asked the Ludlow DRB for an amendment to enclose a front entry (Amendment #74) at Unit 43D, 198 Okemo Trailside Ext. Erin Ladd said notices were posted and the Fire Chief had sent a letter. The Guthries said the enclosure would be roughly 9 by 7 feet, would not expand the overall footprint, and their contractor will install a fire-safe door between units to address fire-safety concerns.
Board members asked whether the enclosure required a foundation and whether drawings were mirrored; Kim Guthrie said a foundation will be installed and the drawing is a mirror image. On a motion by Chair George Tucker, seconded by Doug Sheehan, the board closed the hearing; the record shows the hearing was closed unanimously. Any final permit paperwork or conditions will be addressed through the DRB’s written decision process.
