Neighbors raise access and green-space concerns at Gill Terrace subdivision hearing

The Ludlow DRB considered an application to subdivide a 24.57-acre property at 8 Gill Terrace into two lots (10.63 and 13.94 acres) intended for future sale. Agent Ted Reeves told the board the lots are being created for prospective future buyers and that any future development would require separate DRB review plus state wastewater and Act 250 approvals.
Several neighbors spoke with concerns. Angela Arione said the town previously took property near her home and she worried a subdivision might alter driveway access and traffic. Murat Teminkolv said even-numbered houses on Gill would lose green space and referenced a planned water-line improvement, and BJ Donohue said the proposed lot lines could affect his private right-of-way and the maintenance he pays for the driveway. The board closed the hearing and asked staff to research road frontage and easement questions before it issues a decision.
