The Ludlow Development Review Board recessed the preliminary subdivision hearing for Jonathan Dubinski on May 11 after the board received additional documents that the applicant’s agent said he had not been given time to review. Staff member Erin Ladd told the board the matter had been carried from hearings on Jan. 12 and May 9 and involves subdividing a roughly 2.45-acre parcel into three lots of about 0.61, 0.62 and 1.24 acres in the Village Residential-Commercial District.
Chair George Tucker, Jr. told the applicant’s representative that 15 new documents had been added to the record, including a letter from the Ludlow Highway Department denying an access permit, a letter from VTrans noting concerns, and correspondence from two abutters and the President of Vermont Rail. Applicant representative Thomas Anastasio said he had not received those materials when he met with the highway official and asked for time to review and prepare a response. “He agreed” to a recess, and the board voted to recess the hearing until the June meeting on a motion by Chair Tucker, seconded by Doug Sheehan; the motion passed unanimously. The board did not take a final vote on the subdivision at the May meeting.
