Ludlow Water Commission sends final disconnect notices; shut-offs planned for June 2

Diane Knight, finance staff for the Village of Ludlow Water Department, told the commission that staff have sent six final disconnect letters affecting roughly 10 properties (some owners received more than one letter). "Six final disconnect letters have been sent," Knight said, and plans or payments are due by May 28, 2026. She said shut‑offs are scheduled to begin on June 2, 2026; to date one person had come into the office to discuss their account.
Commissioners did not raise additional policy changes at the meeting; the office will proceed with the notices and the scheduled shut‑offs unless accounts are settled or parties arrange plans with staff.
