Insulation under MERP grant to start mid-Aug.; town issues solar RFP with July 24 bid deadline

Committee members reported that an insulation company selected under the MERP grant will begin work in mid-August and complete it by mid-September. The work is scheduled to occur Thursdays through Saturdays in three stages, starting with the Equinox Room, then the Town Manager suite, and finally the Town Clerk’s office.
Gordon told the committee he has issued an RFP to solicit bids for installing solar panels on the Town Hall roof; bids are due July 24. Carl agreed to send Scott the email addresses for four local companies to help notify potential bidders.
