The Design Advisory Board opened its July 1 meeting with annual officer elections. Ray Nevin nominated John Watanabe for chair; the nomination was seconded by Chris Conte and passed unanimously (4-0). After Watanabe assumed the chair, the board reviewed and approved the minutes for the June meeting and adopted the Rules of Procedure (motions by Mary Shoener, seconded by Chris Conte; motions carried 4-0). Watanabe moved to nominate Mary Shoener as vice-chair; the minutes record the nomination.
The board scheduled its next regular meeting for August 5, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. and adjourned at 5:35 p.m. (motion to adjourn by Ray Nevin, seconded by Chris Conte). The minutes do not record dissent on procedural matters and contain no additional conditions on the Rules of Procedure.
