The Town of Manchester Design Advisory Board met on June 3, 2026, in the Kilburn Meeting Room. The board approved the May 6 minutes as corrected after Mary Shoener requested adding Bill Drunsic to that meeting’s public‑attendee list; Andrew Baisley moved the corrected minutes, Ray Nevin seconded, and the motion carried 5-0.
The board approved an application to replace siding at 180 Elm Street with fiber‑cement Hardie‑plank (application S-2026-60) by a recorded vote of 3-0. The Tutorial Center’s 16" x 78" wall sign application was deferred because the applicant was absent. The First Baptist Church roof item (S-2026-64) was discussed at length — an engineering assessment recommended reducing roofing weight and the congregation selected a synthetic faux‑slate option; staff relayed historical‑society comments and the board requested additional samples before a vote. Orchid LLC’s site‑plan modification to allow up to seven cabins was listed but the applicant did not appear and will provide materials for the July meeting.
Ray Nevin moved to adjourn at 5:35 p.m.; the motion, seconded by Chris Conte, carried 5-0. The board scheduled its next regular meeting for July 1, 2026 at 5:00 p.m.
