Commissioners approve asbestos mitigation, auditor and attorney housekeeping, and a solicitor permit

Chief Operations Officer Nick Creevy presented two quotes to remove asbestos pipework in the North Annex basement: Asbestech at $39,500.00 and Bloom Environmental at $78,850.00. The board approved the lower Asbestech quote by unanimous motion.
Auditor Diana Topping moved to approve the RightStuff software renewal and the Peterson Consulting Services contract; both motions passed unanimously. County Attorney (Fox Law Office) sought ratification of "FCO 2025-21 Establishing Retail Food Establishment" and approval of FCR 2025-18 (2026 observed holidays) and FCR 2025-19 (2026 commissioners meeting dates); the board approved those items by unanimous consent. Finally, Ben Ashcraft of Proliferation Marketing requested a solicitor permit for scheduling internet installs; the permit was approved.
