The Watonga Board of Education approved its consent agenda during the Dec. 8, 2025 regular meeting, recording unanimous votes on routine minutes, encumbrances and activity-account changes. A motion by Dwight McGee, seconded by Aaron Clewell, carried with Shawn Cox, Courtney Robison and President Mayra Flynn also voting yes (5-0).
The consent package included General Fund encumbrances #418-#432 totaling $111,725.39, Child Nutrition Fund encumbrance #12 for $1,908.00, and Building Fund encumbrances #3-#4 totaling $40,546.97. The board also approved an activity-fund report and treasurer report, a transfer of $2,436.03 from Boys & Girls Basketball to Football for concession supplies, and the creation of a new activity account for Powerlifting. The minutes record no objections and list Doris Ware as minutes clerk.
