At the May 27 meeting staff reported that aeration tank #2 surface and joint repairs are complete, threaded anchors have been set and pull-tested, diffuser saddles have been installed on anchors, and piping installation is underway with "completion expected this week," according to the minutes. The work is part of ongoing aeration and miscellaneous plant repairs intended to return tanks to service.
The minutes also record that return activated sludge Pump #3 installation and startup are complete and that a plant bypass weir replacement is finished. Separately, staff reported that slide gates in aeration tanks #3 and #4 are not operating correctly; consultant Ramboll has visited the site and staff are awaiting Ramboll’s determination and proposal for corrective actions.
