After staff confirmed that listing a project in the CORP helps qualify it for grant funding, Commissioner Leonard moved an amendment to add McDonough Park court‑surface improvements and $190,000; the amendment passed 7‑0. The commission then voted 7‑0 to recommend the CORP to City Council with that amendment.
The CORP remains a living document, staff said, and can be amended as needs and funding opportunities arise. The amendment does not program a specific funding year but positions the McDonough project for grant applications and CIP consideration.
