District says Health Center grant decision expected in 6-12 weeks; maintenance updates address leaks and ADA opener

Board members raised a facility-use problem after an event when restroom lights were off and patrons had to enter via a side entrance that required stairs, which prompted concern about accessibility during outside events.
Business Manager Marie Knight responded to a board question about timber-land openings and district revenue by saying she did not believe the district would be impacted. No dollar figures or grant award amounts were disclosed in the public minutes.
