Veneta Park Board approves $300 for Easter Egg Hunt supplies; event set for April 4

She told the Board the planning committee will pack eggs on March 28 at City Hall at 9 a.m. and has arranged for a fire engine, the mayor, a library reader, and Kiwanis to help with check-in and coffee.
The Board discussed purchasing “bunny” stickers, chocolate bunnies for volunteers and small toys for the mayor to hand out, estimating those supplies would cost about $300. The Board approved a motion to authorize up to $300 for Easter Egg Hunt supplies. The motion was moved by Member Rebecca Cox and seconded by Member John Tribolet; it passed 6-0. The board noted the Easter Egg Hunt budget item was increased in draft planning to better reflect actual costs.
