Tax administrator Josh Engel presented the figures, said a list of taxpayers with unpaid 2025 taxes is available at the county tax department, and asked the board to accept the settlement and re-charge the taxes to the tax collector. The board approved the request by voice vote.
Chair Church also told the board he understood Josh Engel had turned in his notice and thanked him for his service. "We want to say as he's coming, we appreciate Josh and everything he's done. He's turned his notice in today," the chair said. The transcript does not record a formal personnel action beyond the chair's acknowledgment.
