Selectboard picks Beth Meese sunflower photo "Don't Blink" for 2026 town report cover

The Isle La Motte Selectboard selected a photograph by Beth Meese, titled "Don't Blink," as the cover image for the town report after reviewing 25 submissions from seven individuals at its Jan. 14 meeting.
Assistant to the Selectboard Donna Bohannon suggested placing black-and-white copies of other submissions in blank areas of the report so each submitter would receive credit; the board agreed and asked Bohannon to acknowledge both the photographer and the Rowes in the report. The chosen image depicts the annual Rowe sunflower field and will appear on the 2026 town report cover.
Selecting the cover photo was handled by consensus of the five Selectboard members present, who praised the quality of the submissions and thanked contributors for participating.
