During public comment, resident Theresa Almay spoke in favor of hiring the Town Clerk assistant and raised safety concerns about speeding traffic on Route 58, asking for temporary traffic cones at curves and additional speed signs. Selectboard member Charlie Hancock said he would ask the town crew to make additional speed signs for summer months; Larry Letourneau asked that the June 16 NWATV recording be revisited because of editing errors and Will (the recording technician) said he would follow up.
Theresa also confirmed the clerk assistant had been hired by the town, and attendees did not record opposition to that hire in the minutes. The town did not record immediate enforcement actions beyond the request to the town crew to prepare signage and consider cones during the summer.
